Sustainable Agriculture Presentations
Given widespread understanding of pending water supply restrictions for Tulare county agriculture, the Tule Trust co-hosted a workshop with UCANR aimed at providing information on grants, loans, farm management options, crop alternatives and farmland use diversification to help farmers find economical way to adjust their operations and remain in business through SGMA implementation. UCANR provided many of the speakers and presentations. There were six panels on a variety of topics, including regional perspectives on SGMA, sustainable farming with existing crops, and groundwater trading strategies. The presentations are available below, organized by each of the panels.
